Guide to professions and their benefits.

The Profession System

Beyond the standard skill tree, characters may study professions. Profession Points (PPS) are earned by raising the Profession skill, unlocked at level 20 and priced the same as Hitpoints. Non-Arch classes can raise Profession to 50, while Arches can take it to 100.

Spend PPS by apprenticing with the appropriate teacher to either learn a new profession or advance one you already practice. Each lesson requires gold, so bring cash—Aston’s banks do not issue student loans.
